More than 2,200 runners, including a blind logger and a family which will run together for the first time, have entered The Tribune's Run for Fun which starts at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Assiniboine Park. Dr. Colin Dawes, a dentistry professor at the Universiy of Manitoba, says he rarely gets a chance to run with his children. But on Sunday, the Dawes family Liz, 14, Martin, 12, Dr. Dawes, Richard, 8, and Roger, 15, will join dad for the eight-kilometre run through the park and along Wellington Crescent befoe ending up back in the park. The only one missing will be Dr. Dawes' wife Margaret who hasn't been persuaded yet. Another entrant in the run won't see the other 2,000 plus entrants. He's 62-year-old Nate Micay, who has been running for nearly 20 years e
