Little light at the end of tunnel. City workers weren't mining ore under Winnipeg streets Wednesday, but unloading cement to extend a tunnel under Corydon Avenue. The project is part of the city's $22-million flood relief program to improve Winnipeg's seage and disposal system and provide better flood protection for thousands of homes.
