Provincial Fire Commissioner Gus Thorimbert examines a new fire pumper destined for the Town of The Pas. The priple-combination pumper, designed by the office of the fire Commissioner, is one of the most modern pieces of fire fighting equipment in Canada. The unit has been designed to utilize large diameter hose (4-in.) from hydrant to the pumper at the fire scene. The unit is complete with pre-connected, cross-connected, 1 1/2-inch hose and pre-connected 2 1/2-inch hose. It has a rated capacity of 105 Imperial gallons per minute at 150 p.s.i.
