Industry and Commerce Minister Len Evans (left centre) discusses preliminary plans to have McKenzie Seeds Ltd. of Brandon acquire a minority interest in the Maxican seed firm Bon Jardin, S.A. at a meeting held last June in his office. As a result of McKenzie's interest in the Mexican operation, negotiated March 1 in Mexico, the Manitoba-owned seed firm should be able to sell its products tariff-free throughout the Latin American Free Trade Area. Discussing the plans with Mr. Evans are: (from left to right); Alex Cham, chairman of McKenzie's; Mr. Evans ; Guillermo Berentsen and his brother Roberto, owners of Antonio Berentsen, S.
