Farmer's Advocate Collection Description Farmer’s Advocate was not only for farmers, it was also known as a home journal. It was a Winnipeg publication. There were articles pertaining to stock, dairy, poultry, horticulture, and more, a home journal section with articles on life, literature, and education, market prices for grains, advertisements, a children’s corner, an editorial section, and a section called "The Quiet Hour", which was a short story.
