Search the Winnipeg Tribune Photograph Collection
The Winnipeg Tribune Photograph Collection contains approximately 250,000 photographs and negatives dating from the early 1930s to 1980. Of these 250,000 photos and negatives, approximately 100,000 were taken by Tribune staff. From this total, approximately 6000 photographs and 1000 negatives have been scanned and their descriptions entered into a searchable on-line database. This system was originated by the Tribune and has been maintained by the Archives in order to maintain the integrity of the records.
Note: Not all the photos in the archives have a photographer name or a year associated with them. Thus the use of photographer name or year can limit your keyword search results. The dates of the photographs will not always correspond exactly with the dates of their related Subject File headings. This fact might also limit your keyword search results. The photographs have all been standardized to fit the format of the website, using a resolution of 300 dpi, and do not reflect the actual size or clarity.

Apartments Condominiums Townhouses
The concept is simple - each apartment should have as a much private space as possible; should have its own doorway, and should not have shared facilities. Buildings should not be more than two-storeys high. And you keep as many of the old trees as possible - people like to hear the sound they make when the wind's blowing, to feel close to nature...
